Gail GuilloryLCSWGail is the Clinical Director and founder of Family Counseling Associates. Gail received her Masters degree in Social Work from Barry University and became licensed as a psychotherapist in 1996. She began her career at the Parent Child Center in West Palm Beach, FL and held various positions within the agency during the first seven years of her career. Gail feels that this experience helped her develop the skills and training necessary to work with a diverse population and broad spectrum of mental health issues.
After leaving community mental health, Gail opened her private practice, Family Counseling Associates, in Jupiter, FL and has spent the past 18 years working with individuals, couples and families.
Gail primarily treats adolescents and adults dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem and relationship problems. She has a special interest in working with couples, divorced and blended families helping them to overcome the challenges unique to each family.
In addition, Gail recently completed advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for professionals who specialize in treating individuals with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and is a member of the International OCD foundation. Gail describes her style as directive and actively participates in the sessions to assist her clients in meeting their goals in therapy.
