Dulce DaCostaLCSW, CAPDulce DaCosta, LCSW, CAP, is a graduate of Columbia University in New York as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and The Hanley Center in Florida as a Certified Addictions Professional. She completed post graduate training in “Brief Strategic Family Therapy” at the University of Miami, Center for Family Studies. She is also a “Triple P”, Positive Parenting Program, certified practitioner who helps parents develop positive practices to build healthier relationships with their children.
Dulce has nineteen years of clinical experience working with children, adults, couples and families in public and private practice settings. She passionately believes as an integral part of her work philosophy, therapy is a gift you give yourself, a tool you can use to learn, heal and grow. She is a compassionate, culturally sensitive and clinically comprehensive mental healthcare provider. Specialties include trauma treatment, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, relationship issues, parenting difficulties, stress management and conflict resolution.
Dulce was born in Portugal and has traveled, lived and worked in several European countries. She enjoys the study and practice of spirituality and metaphysical approaches to her work and personal lifestyle.
