Anna JorgeLCSWAnna is a LCSW who received a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2014 and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Edinboro University in 2016. She is passionate about working with children and families to provide high quality care utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions and techniques, Anna has training in Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her certifications include Early Childhood Professional, Early Childhood Teacher Education Studies, QPR suicide prevention, utilizing art therapy techniques in therapy and the use of play therapy in infant mental health, child development, attachment and trauma. Anna additionally has training in trauma sensitive yoga and international certification in teaching Children’s Yoga. Anna feels her diverse professional background shapes her practice to provide early intervention in directive and non-directive capacities. She believes in providing children and families a safe place to express their thoughts and feelings in playful, mindful and creative ways.
